The photo below is not of the victim of the crime but rather the perpetrator.

The Crime was practicing medicine without a license in particular, cosmetic surgery in this case, buttocks enhancements.

According to police, the victim saw Morris in May and was injected in her buttocks with a substance consisting of cement, "Fix a Flat," mineral oil and super glue.

The amateur incision was then sealed with super glue, police said. The victim was later hospitalized with a serious medical condition as a result of the injections.

Police say a woman emerged from the crowd and attacked one of the officers with what was described as an exacto blade attached to a pen or pencil like object. She allegedly slashed the inside of the officers hand and ran back into the crowd before the officer had time to realize he had been cut.
At the same location, a protestors allegedly grabbed the radio of another officer and tried to run away into the crowd. When the officer pursued him, another demonstrator allegedly pushed the officer and cut his face and tore his uniform.

The lookalikes were attending a charity function in Rochester, Kent, when the fire alarm sounded late on Saturday night.

It is believed that it was set off by a faulty smoke machine that formed part of the Elvis act at the fundraiser.

Guests leaving the hotel were stunned to see a group of around 60 impersonators, dressed in wigs and full rhinestone costume, gathered in the car park.

"I was in a bit of a state getting out of my room," one guest told the Daily Mirror. "But I was more confused when I got outside to see all these people dressed as Elvis.

The Occupy Seattle protest is a part of what is know known as the Occupy Movement, it and the others around the country are designed to give the appearance of a sustained popular movement. It is a false impression.

The Occupy movement is a rag tag collection of leftist groups using the very real popular disaffection of the American people with the TARP and other forms of corporate bailouts (something the Tea Parties protested against years ago) to promote their ideals of “Change”.

I went to the Occupy Seattle Protest on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday I learned they planned to have some Unions come and join them, they also planned at least two acts of civil disobedience. I guess I could start by point out the difference between a Union and non-union protest…

On Friday there were about 60 people

Today it was about 3,000* Unions, Socialist Communist and Anarchist (*this estimate is from the live stream)

I made a sign and joined the march,

“In America the only thing keeping me down is ~~the~~ this man” (points @ me)

“I too am the 99%”

The front says its about personal responsibility, the 1% does not keep me from being what I want to be, the 1% does not keep me down, only I can do that. We’ve had the rich (and the poor) with us always, yet still great people have risen up from the ranks of the “99%”. Even slaves have risen to greatness. No its not a them v us thing here, it’s a me me me thing here.

The back was meant to point out that within the true 99% most do not wish to overthrow the system. This movement only truly represent a small portion of the 99%.

There has been some talk that the Tea Party and the Occupy movement have a lot in common. At first I rejected this ideal but now that I’ve been there I have to say it’s true, to a point.

Update: Occupy (Mark Taylor-Canfield) and the Tea Party (Keli Carender) together at last on “The Bill Radke Treatment” (25 min audio).

The Tea Party wanted to stop the bailouts, to let the natural ebb and flow of the free market do its job, not to overthrow the system. The fact is the real anger should be at the politicians who rigged the system, as well as the corrupt people who bribed them.

Yet there are very real differences in the goals

and in the reasons for their anger.

In short we agree on the problem not the solution.

Now on to The first planned acts of civil disobedience, a march to and take over of Chase bank @ 3:00, but wait! its Saturday the bank closes at 1:00, oh well

That didn’t work, so they marched up Pike, down Pine, then back up Pike. Holding a sit in at Pike and 2nd for about 20 minutes then back to Westlake Park to sit in on 4th Ave.

The second act of disobedience is the setting up of tents in defiance of park rules and a deal made with the city allowing them to use City Hall for this purpose.

The park closes at 10 it is expected that the police will order the protesters to leave then, and arrest anyone who doesn’t leave and remove their tents. I couldn’t stay for that but it’s on a live stream

Palestinians were out in force throwing rocks at passersby as part of their “Statehood celebrations” This child was injured when Palestinians threw rocks at the family car.

These rock throwing attacks have been an ongoing threat for sometime on the West Bank, Especially near Jerusalem, must often targeting Israeli’s as they leave/return to their homes, or worshipers at the Wailing Wall, the cameras wait until the IDF arrives before they show you anything.

Student mobs then murdered teachers and school administrators, they destroyed Tibetan monasteries, Foreign diplomats were lynched. They attacked artists, scholars, and intellectuals, whenever Mao denounced one of his former comrades the students were there to bring the “people’s justice”

Untold Millions were killed, it took only 3 years to bring what was left China’s economy to ruin. Yet it was not enough to end the murder spree that lasted until this day in 1976 with the death of Chairman Mao,

Not when one side refuses peace so soundly as these people did.

A Mural was painted on a wall overlooking a building that had been destroyed in 2007. This destruction resulted in months of unrest and riots. You would think this was part of some long entrenched ethnic rivalry or the result of some cruel occupation, the cries of a long abused and oppressed people. No this was in one of the lefts stronghold a shining star of liberal values and virtue. In Copenhagen, Denmark.

Within a day of completion, the mural was vandalized by protesters, with graffiti sending messages of "no peace" and "go home (snip) Fairey subsequently collaborated with former members of the 69 youth house to redecorate the lower half of the installation. His new version contains images of riot police and explosions, together with a new, more combative slogan: "Nothing forgotten, nothing forgiven".

What could have sparked such distain that a mural that proclaimed “Peace” would incite such a clash?

Allow me to bring up (from memory) the history of this place. This building was not used for many years, at some point squatters moved in, the owners wanted to reclaim their property but the squatters refused to leave. They engaged in lawfare to prevent the owners from reclaiming their property. Finally the owners were able to evict the trespassers (with police help) these evictions led to riots with far left activist coming from all over Europe to protest against property rights. The building was demolished by the rightful owners but legal action prevents any reconstruction.

So not only did people who had no title in a property claim it has their own, not only did they drag the rightful owners through decades of court battles, not only did they incite riots and mob actions to prevent these owners from exercising their court won rights to use their property as they saw fit, but now they attacked an artist who simply sought to plant the first seeds of reconciliation.

That my friends is the left in a nutshell.

The idea for Row to the Pole first came about when Jock was at Resolute Bay in the former North West Territories of Canada.
Having just completed The Polar Race he had taken a rowing machine out on to the ice. A friend seeing him, joked, “What are you going to do next Jock? Row to the Pole!”
From that moment the idea of the challenge alongside the chance to highlight climate change in the region took root in Jock’s mind. Not a man to lose sight of a challenge he has worked tirelessly to make this expedition a reality.

A group of adventures who are hoping to row a boat to the North Pole get briefly trapped in a ice field.

The Old Pulteney Row To The Pole is an expedition by six oarsmen in an effort to complete a 450 mile voyage in an open rowing boat from Resolute Bay to the position of the Geomagnetic Pole (1996). It's only conceivable because the sea ice has receded to such an extent that areas once covered in ice are open water in summer. At the very end of summer there is a narrow two week 'window' when a navigable route may be found by the crew. If they complete the voyage, the crew will become the first to have rowed to any Pole position. The expedition is the first since Ernest Shackleton ordered his crew to take to rowing boats to save their lives in 1916. Either way, it is a huge adventure and a unique ocean rowing challenge.

A quick note here they are aiming to reach the “magnetic” north pole a spot that moves from year to year and at one point it was even on land.

In fact, they set their goal for the magnetic north pole as it was recorded in 1996, the pole is moving to the northwest by about 37 miles a year meaning they will be about 500 miles short of actually rowing to the pole… the location is (78°35.7N 104°11.9W) right in the famous North West Passage first crossed in 1906 in an attempt to find a way to avoid the long trips around South America and is surrounded by islands

Yep its true somebody lost an island, well a balloon shaped like an “Is Land”

The search is reaching far and wide with national newspapers alerted, blogs in Austria getting word out and talk of a UFO sighting that could have been Is Land near the Isle of Wight!

Peter Falk died at age 83

Prior to his death on June 24, 2011, Peter Falk had expressed interest in returning to the role, announcing in 2007 that he had chosen a script for one last Columbo episode, Columbo: Hear No Evil. The script was renamed Columbo's Last Case. ABC, the network which has aired the new Columbo series since 1989, declined the project. In response, producers for the series announced they were attempting to shop the project to foreign production companies.^[26]^[27] Falk's involvement in the project was put into doubt after he was diagnosed with dementia in late 2007, following some dental treatment.^[28] During a 2009 court trial over Falk's care, Dr Stephen Read stated that Falk's condition was so bad he could no longer remember the character of Columbo.^[28]

Peter Falk died on June 23, 2011. He was 83 years old.

63 years for the better

Israel was founded 63 years ago the people have flourished the land has flourished and the world thru Israeli innovation and resolve has become a better place for it. The founding was marked has a great accomplishment early this month by most yet this weekend others were marking the day as the day of catastrophe. The Nakba.

Truth is not much happened, about 25 people showed up and 20 of them were the same people who have been doing this every weekend. There was also a Free Tibet rally and I thought it made an interesting juxtaposition on how freedom is regarded by different peoples. The people fighting communism understand that support from the USA is vital to achieving freedom for the people of Tibet. The people fighting Israel want to undermine all support from the USA, even to the point of undermining the USA.

They never called for the destruction of nor denied the right of China to exist

The myth of Nakba is supported with lies and exaggeration expressed thru these placards and by an imaginary board game

Judging simply on stereotypes This game seems to be ISM propaganda.

Not long ago they tried to buy ad space for an anti-Israeli bus campaign, they failed, the banner was displayed here.

What struck me was in a campaign that would cost thousands the best example of “Israeli War Crimes” is a picture of healthy, clean children standing near a long demolished building?

This time there was no “Two state” solution, Israel has no right to exist and the Palestinians have a right to armed resistance.

“Palestinians had no moral or legal reason to agree to their own displacement.

“Palestinians have been pressured for decades to accept the validity and primacy of a Jewish state”

“Palestinians had no reason to accept the partition of their homeland”

Did I mention no one showed up?

Yesterday I went to Seattle to meet up with a friend, (we missed each other) so While I was downtown I started checking out some music

Seattle’s Street music scene has it all from Accordions to Washboards and even a Saw

By far the best I heard was Carly Calbero who had two self produced CDs for sell which I brought (not on i-Tunes yet but you can order them on Bandcamp) This song is Middle-age 13 on her CD “The Outlining”

OK so this guy at LSU got arrested for cutting down and burning a US Flag that was over a war memorial. HE was arrested for stealing and damaging property and, oddly enough, drug paraphernalia.

He was pissed that we killed OBL.

So this other guy says he wants to show support for the first guys rights (to steal and destroy other peoples property) and burn a flag on campus, it was announced that the university granted him permission to hold his protest which he planned to do today, just that things didn’t turn out the way he planned.

You have the right to burn your flag in this country, you do not have the right to steal and burn a flag that does not belong to you. If you decide to burn your flag, others have the right to object (without threats/acts of violence) to your actions. The mixed feelings come in that I loved seeing so many come out to defend the flag from an obvious loon, but they came very close to crossing that line.
