He’ll never do that again

So this guy had been stalking a lady for 6 months then he attacks and tries to rape her….

A 40-year-old Bangladeshi woman cut off a man's penis during an alleged attempted rape and took it to a police station as evidence,

He’ll never do that again.

And this time, unlike that Bobbitt guy, there’s no reattaching this one

The severed penis has been kept at the police station and the rape suspect was undergoing treatment in hospital.

And a little something for him to look forward to.

"We shall arrest him once his condition gets better," Khaer added.

63 years for the better

Israel was founded 63 years ago the people have flourished the land has flourished and the world thru Israeli innovation and resolve has become a better place for it. The founding was marked has a great accomplishment early this month by most yet this weekend others were marking the day as the day of catastrophe. The Nakba.

Nakba day 2011 001

Truth is not much happened, about 25 people showed up and 20 of them were the same people who have been doing this every weekend. There was also a Free Tibet rally and I thought it made an interesting juxtaposition on how freedom is regarded by different peoples. The people fighting communism understand that support from the USA is vital to achieving freedom for the people of Tibet. The people fighting Israel want to undermine all support from the USA, even to the point of undermining the USA.

They never called for the destruction of nor denied the right of China to exist

The myth of Nakba is supported with lies and exaggeration expressed thru these placards and by an imaginary board game

Judging simply on stereotypes This game seems to be ISM propaganda.

Nakba day 2011 060

Not long ago they tried to buy ad space for an anti-Israeli bus campaign, they failed, the banner was displayed here.

Nakba day 2011 113

What struck me was in a campaign that would cost thousands the best example of “Israeli War Crimes” is a picture of healthy, clean children standing near a long demolished building?

Nakba day 2011 090

This time there was no “Two state” solution, Israel has no right to exist and the Palestinians have a right to armed resistance.

Nakba day 2011 117

“Palestinians had no moral or legal reason to agree to their own displacement.

“Palestinians have been pressured for decades to accept the validity and primacy of a Jewish state”

“Palestinians had no reason to accept the partition of their homeland”

Nakba day 2011 121

Did I mention no one showed up?

Update: because this post is getting more attention than normal (thanks EoZ) I feel I need to note my corrections; I changed the grammar and added/removed punctuations to make it easier to read and I added a link to the Rachel Corrie website, And I added the link to my Flickr page (I seem to keep forgetting that one today)

Mixed Feelings

OK so this guy at LSU got arrested for cutting down and burning a US Flag that was over a war memorial. HE was arrested for stealing and damaging property and, oddly enough, drug paraphernalia.

He was pissed that we killed OBL.

So this other guy says he wants to show support for the first guys rights (to steal and destroy other peoples property) and burn a flag on campus, it was announced that the university granted him permission to hold his protest which he planned to do today, just that things didn’t turn out the way he planned.

You have the right to burn your flag in this country, you do not have the right to steal and burn a flag that does not belong to you. If you decide to burn your flag, others have the right to object (without threats/acts of violence) to your actions. The mixed feelings come in that I loved seeing so many come out to defend the flag from an   obvious loon, but they came very close to crossing that line.

in comments there…

Quote from Johnny Cash’s From “Ragged Old Flag” on The Great Lost Performance”:

I love the freedoms we got in this country, I appreciate your freedom to burn your flag if you want to… but I really appreciate my right to bear arms so I can shoot you if you try to burn mine…

Note: This blog is full of examples of me objecting to the actions of others, often very vocally, so I know how easy it is to push that line, and how important it is not to.

The new Hope for some Change

The Unemployment numbers are out, inflation is up, Gas is rising and Obama Killed OBL

So the left wants to skip the Election because we (the right) don’t have a chance

hope

I beg to differ.

That may have been true on Monday morning but by Tuesday it was clear that this administration in their rush to claim the kudos lost the mojo
