My orders are on the way

to report to the residence life education program at the University of Delaware. It seems that students who live on campus are now required to attend training sessions on and demonstrate adherence to

highly specific university-approved views on issues ranging from politics to race, sexuality, sociology, moral philosophy, and environmentalism.

So has I faced charges of racism/fascism and other assorted ism's last Saturday I can feel blessed that I do not attend School, where I would likely find myself tied to a chair watching "Pleasantville" with my eyes propped open with toothpicks.

Global War

The war on terror is a global war. We are fighting everywhere, they are fighting everywhere. We fight on land sea and air. The enemy tries to hide from us in many ways, today one of those hiding places is gone.
A U.S. destroyer has entered Somali territorial waters in pursuit of a Japanese-owned ship loaded with benzene that was hijacked by pirates over the weekend, military officials said Monday.

And just to prove we mean business...
The Golden Mori radioed for help Sunday night. The Burke's sister ship, the USS Porter, opened fire and sank the pirate skiffs tied to its stern before the Burke took over shadowing the hijacked vessel.

Report from the home front

Anti-war madness in Seattle Oct 27 2007.
I got there early and got to see the crowd build to an est. 2000 people (King 5 news)... not a happy group. Remember that organisers only held one rally in the North West (11 overall) this year, people were expected to come from all over. I guess they didn't, or there are not that many people engaged in this anti America BS any more... well time for my photos...

I parked near the end of the march, Occidental park

Seattle's Firefighter memorial

Waterfall garden (birthplace of UPS)

And here the anties use shoes to pull at the heart strings.

Then took a quick walk to the starting place of the march.

The Devil May Care!

Ready to protect.

A Commie Babe

Every anti-war rally must have some of these.

Your commie table selling Che Guevara books

Old lady wearing a terror scarf

Anarchist

and new to this years round of protest... Ron Paul supporter

And now for other photos of note:

I wonder if this Anarchist knows he is quoting Reagan?

Always planing the next rally.

Now at this point the march back to Occidental park begins and I expose myself as a member of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
This allowed the protester to expose the true level of hate they have for our troops as they tried to provoke me and my fellow co-conspirators.

And now we have people holding the flag of murders who shoot missiles at cities and schools and they have the nerve to call our troops killers!!!

More photos can be found on my Flickr page!

"Big" rally today

I'm going with my camera and will post a full report, if I don't get arrested!

PS I made a new sign,
Why do you want US to lose this war?
I support our troops and I support their mission
I Support True Middle East peace
I Support Israel’s war against Terror!
I Support America’s War against Terror!
Only Victory will assure peace.
A.N.S.W.E.R. is not a friend of our troops.
Why do you want US to lose this war

Pss If you see me get arrested on the news feel free to come down and bail me out :) please.

Inside the Green House: Koz says we did it.

We killed the Dinosaurs!

According to the record, it hasn't mattered why the temperature rose, only that it did. The result was the same -- a massive loss of species both on land and in the sea. If global warming and the associated changes are what really does in ecosystems, what does that say about our immediate future?

it all adds up. We made the world warmer and the dinosaurs made the world warmer and everybody died... Now I'm scared.

There are some things that common sense will tell you just ain't so.

Unfit

Their crime?

refusing to take their 11 year old foster child to "gay association meetings"
Earlier this year, Somerset County Council's social services department asked them to sign a contract to implement Labour's new Sexual Orientation Regulations, part of the Equality Act 2006, which make discrimination on the grounds of sexuality illegal.

Officials told the couple that under the regulations they would be required to discuss same-sex relationships with children as young as 11 and tell them that gay partnerships were just as acceptable as heterosexual marriages.

They could also be required to take teenagers to gay association meetings.

Next it will be illegal to force the kids to go to church... or heaven forbid pray at bedtime!!!

Senator Murray responds

Over a month after the despicable attack upon general Petraeus by the Democrats favorite mouth piece MoveOn.org... I got a letter from my democrat Senator, Patty Murray;

Dear George:
Thank you for contacting me regarding the war in Iraq. I appreciate hearing from you.
As you know, I voted against authorizing the Iraq war in 2002 because I thought there were too many unanswered questions about the Bush Administration's approach and planning for war and its implications for the larger war against terrorists. Since that time, I have consistently opposed President Bush's flawed strategy while continuing to support our men and women in uniform. More than 3,800 service members have paid the ultimate price for our country, and I am humbled by their sacrifice.
After four and a half years of war in Iraq, it is time for a new direction. Many Americans are frustrated that our troops are policing a civil war, and I share their frustration with the President's strategy. Since gaining a majority in Congress, Democrats have utilized all available legislative tools to bring about a change of course and hold the Bush Administration accountable. Under new leadership the Senate has held oversight committee hearings and called for votes on critical issues to address the direction in Iraq, care for our veterans, and protection and support for our service members. I worked hard to pass an emergency spending bill on May 1, 2007, that established time lines for redeploying our troops from Iraq. Unfortunately, President Bush vetoed this forward-thinking bill. Since that veto, Democrats have held several votes on redeployment and on troop readiness standards. However, due to the persistent opposition by the President and his Republican allies in the Senate, these amendments were defeated.
As you know, even though I opposed the President's Iraq war plan, I made a promise to always support our service members. As a member of the Senate committees which oversee defense spending and veterans affairs, I have consistently fought to provide our troops with the equipment and training they need to complete their mission and have been a strong voice for ensuring proper health care treatment for those who return from Iraq. To that end I worked on and helped pass the Dignified Treatment of Wounded Warriors Act, a bill which would improve care for wounded troops and veterans when they return home from battle. This bill has cleared the Senate as a stand-alone bill and as a portion of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2008 National Defense Authorization Act. Both now await conference with the House versions of the same bill. I also helped pass the FY2007 Emergency Supplemental Appropriations bill (H.R. 2206) that included badly needed additional funding for new Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles and for veterans medical care.
As part of providing funding for FY 2007, the supplemental appropriations bill also required detailed reports on progress made by the Iraqi national government, including progress on disarming militias, building up the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF), reducing sectarian violence, ensuring minority political rights, and enacting legislation on de-Baathification and oil revenue sharing. Several of these reports were recently delivered to the President and Congress, and unfortunately all independent reports found mixed progress or no sustainable security improvements, that violence remains high, that the ISF remain unable to operate independently, and that national political progress remains unsatisfactory with no progress foreseen in the near future. These reports demonstrated an unacceptable level of progress, and I will continue to work hard to redeploy our troops and to rebuild our military through the legislative process in the United States Senate.
Again, thank you for writing me with your concerns. Know that I will continue to push for a change of direction in Iraq. I will keep your comments in mind as Congress works to steer a new course in Iraq and the war on terror. Please do not hesitate to contact me again should you have any further questions or comments.
I hope all is well in Everett.

All this in response to my request that the Senator renounce the MoveOn attact in September!

Dear Senator

I do not know if you will be involved in today’s committee meeting with General Petraeus. However this issue is so outrageous that I feel a strong statement of condemnation should be issued by all of our senators in response to this moveon.org add in the New York Times. http://pol.moveon.org/petraeus.html. I would be very please and my heart will be greatly lifted to see our senate united in telling moveon that this has gone too far and calling our leaders in Iraq and by extension the men and woman whom they lead traitors is beyond civil discourse.

Funny how the Democrats were so quick to jump on Rush, they had a letter (With Senator Murray's signture on it) out within hours.

Iraq and Al-Qaida

So let us put to rest this endless lie where the far left claims over and over that there was no connection between Iraq and Al-Qaida... This is flatly not true!

As in the case of contacts between Iraq and al-Qaida, the intelligence reporting on training also was of varying reliability and contradictory. Concern over the reliability of sources was also reflected in DCFs September 17, 2002, testimony to the Committee: There is evidence that Iraq provided al-Qaida with various kinds of training-combat, bomb-making, and [chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear] CBRN. Although Saddam did not endorse al-Qaida's overall agenda and was suspicious of Islamist movements in general, he was apparently not averse, under certain circumstances, to enhancing bin Ladin's operational capabilities. As with much of the information on the overall relationship, details on training are --DELETED-- from sources of varying reliability.
The DCI subsequently testified about Iraqi training of al-Qaida in an open hearing before the Committee on February 11, 2003: Iraq has in the past provided training in document forgery and bomb-making to al-Qaida. It has also provided training in poisons and gases to two al-Qaida associates. One of these associates characterized the relationship he forged with Iraqi officials as successful.

The DCI's unclassified, February 2003 testimony addressed "training in poisons and gases" which "comes to us from credible and reliable sources." The DCI's classified, September 2002 testimony addressed "evidence that Iraq provided al-Qaida with various kinds of training" of which "details on training are --DELETED-- from sources of varying reliability." The DCI's unclassified testimony did not include source descriptions, which could have led the recipients of that testimony to interpret that the CIA believed the training had definitely occurred.

Due to concern over al-Qaida's interest in WMD, the CIA assessments in Iraqi Support for Terrorism concentrated on the intelligence reports regarding possible Iraqi assistance to al-Qaida's chemical and biological weapons (CBW) programs. Reporting on Iraq's potential CBW training of al-Qaida came from three sources:

I know the left will shout me down on this but the fact remains al-Qaida received some level of support from Iraq, Iraq did not do 9-11 but the President never said that. That was a straw man argument that the left madeup to give their "Bush Lied" mantra wings, they hold to this lie with tooth and claw. We have a war on our hands and we have a 5th column working to undermine our efforts at every turn. And a press that side with the 5th column.

Good news

Jewel is almost ready to release a new CD!!

What else.....oh! my new cd is done...just gotta mix it...and name it...i SUCK SUCK SUCK at naming cd's....always have been! It is always the last thing to come to me- (usually under the pressure of many threats and deadlines)....i dont know what the heck to call it....i was thinking of calling it "Home,"

the ultimate slap in the face of two-faceness

The evil mockers who call themselves the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence had the gall to take Communion and then claim righteous indignation when they were called on it. They claimed in a press release to live "as nuns," who hold to their vows, (and incase you didn't get it from the photo these are guys)
contrary to the spin of right-wing fanatics, that the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence do not "mock nuns" but live "as nuns," taking vows that affirm the traditional compassionate and justice-seeking ministries of religious women, extending their reach beyond the convent walls to those most in need.
And were therefore within their rights to walk into church in their full nun-mocking outfits and makeup to take communion.
We are dismayed that a moment of genuine communion during sacred worship is being twisted for political gain by the forces of hatred and dissension. — Sister Edith Myflesh, Current Abbess of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Inc.

And has the ultimate slap in the face of two-faceness comes this statement,
In keeping with our vows to expiate stigmatic guilt and promulgate universal joy, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence call on all people of good faith to oppose those who would desecrate the sanctity of a church and defile a moment of true communion for cheap political gain. In a world wracked by violence and fear, we have no time for such lies and will continue to serve our community by boldly proclaiming that joy is more powerful than shame.

Note: I will not link to these fools, look it up yourselves.

I've heard it so many time, with so many failed plots, the left clings to the fact that the plots have failed, therefore we have nothing to fear... The new terrorist recruits are too dumb to be a real threat to us they claim. Can they really make that argument, I don't think they can. Sure it nice that our enemy has failed so often. But they keep trying, and someday they will find someone just dumb enough to get lucky, or smart enough to really hurt us.

Inside the Green House: consensus?

"We'll look back on all of this in 10 or 15 years and realise how foolish it was," Dr Gray said.
Foolishness is not the best foundation for scientific consensus
"It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something they know is wrong," he said. "But they also know that they'd never get any grants if they spoke out. I don't care about grants."
But threats and intimidation will help you reach the consensus you want.
"We're brainwashing our children," said Dr Gray, 78, a long-time professor at Colorado State University. "They're going to the Gore movie [An Inconvenient Truth] and being fed all this. It's ridiculous."

Should I be outraged?

Here is a flier I received yesterday offering among other things a Pole Dancing Kit.

The way I see it somethings are OK for some, but not something we should want to encourage others to do, and pole dancing is among the top on that list. and look at the girl in this add, she looks way too young to be promoting this behaviour

Inside the green house: Gore's 9 lies

So in Briton they want to show An Inconvenient Truth in school.
This lead to a court ruling that many of the claims were raised in “the context of alarmist and exaggeration”. The film may be shown but must be accompanied by a disclaimer... (why show it at all?)

In what is a rare judicial ruling on what children can see in the class-room, Mr Justice Barton was at pains to point out that the “apocalyptic vision” presented in the film was politically partisan and not an impartial analysis of the science of climate change.

Now for the legally judged falsehood of An Inconvenient Truth.
#1
The claim that sea levels could rise by 20ft “in the near future” was dismissed as “distinctly alarmist”. Such a rise would take place “only after, and over, millennia”.

#2
A claim that atolls in the Pacific had already been evacuated was supported by “no evidence

#3
while to suggest that two graphs showing carbon dioxide levels and temperatures over the last 650,000 years were an “exact fit” overstated the case.

#4
Mr Gore’s suggestion that the Gulf Stream, that warms up the Atlantic ocean, would shut down was contradicted by the International Panel on Climate Change’s assessment that it was “very unlikely” to happen.

#5,6,&7
The drying of Lake Chad, the loss of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snows and Hurricane Katrina were all blamed by Mr Gore on climate change but the judge said the scientific community had been unable to find evidence to prove there was a direct link.

#8
The judge also said there was no proof to support a claim that polar bears were drowning while searching for icy habitats melted by global warming. The only drowned polar bears the court was aware of were four that died following a storm.

#9
Similarly, the judge took issue with the former Vice-President of the United States for attributing coral bleaching to climate change. Separating the direct impacts of climate change and other factors was difficult, the judgment concluded.

So Why is it that so many of us on the right were able to make these same point from the beginning, yet so many on the left would dismiss our augments with the blanket claim of "scientific consensus"

Godless America

So we need to remember that the Name Of God is a good thing, seems that congress as forgotten that.
A 17-year-old Eagle Scout from Ohio reportedly was denied the request to have a certificate read, "This flag was flown in honor of Marcel Larochelle, my grandfather, for his dedication and love of God, country and family."

Ok so you don't think the government should use the word God? Then we have to remove half of our founding documents and most of our history.

One proposed compromise was to put out a uniform certificate of authenticity while allowing members to add messages they choose, but some lawmakers objected to that approach, the aides said.

Why the effort to keep God from the public? The need to remove God from society is among the most important steps in imposing socialism.

I hate cigarettes

But Government intrusion scares me.
Next Tuesday, the City Council of Belmont is scheduled to cast a final vote on an ordinance that would ban smoking in apartments and condos. The measure, which won initial approval last week, could trigger fines and evictions if neighbors complain and smokers don't heed repeated warnings.

Your home is the states castle.
I'm guessing these towns are run by Democrats.

Update: Officially Banned in your home (what you think they'll stop now?)

They Lied people died

That's right I am going to join the "they lied people died" chant... Because I have found a lie that undeniably lead to the death of hundreds of people if not thousands. A media that was misled yet knowingly refused to check any further, because only a brief check of the facts would have revealed the lie. This lie led to fighting of the most vicious manner. Attacks on civilians and raids on cities. Tanks and planes and rockets and bombs all wasting lives because of this lie, that everyone in charge knew was a lie, was used to stir up the population. This lie and the names of those killed when the lie was born were use to demand retribution, and the people were all too happy to just be led down the path to war.
