It's a natural thing

When a government try's to keep a promise it could not keep something has to give ,

Thousands of people a year are having to wait outside accident and emergency departments because trusts will not let them in until they can treat them within four hours, in line with a Labour pledge.

ambulanceDM1802_468x241The complaints of people being forced to wait in the halls led to the new assurances, but no real changes were made so now people are waiting outside.

Figures obtained by the Liberal Democrats show that last year 43,576 patients waited longer than one hour before being let into emergency units.

This is a natural outcome when government makes a promise others are forced to keep. Remember that come November.

Just think 400,000,000

In Britain they want to give implanted birth control for girls as young as 12.

Now, many people will see this modest proposal as little short of horrific - nothing less than state interference in our reproductive lives.

You think, maybe its this thought process that is so scary.

christina1HELLO_468x702 We are moving into a science fiction age in which life itself can be created in a test tube, and it seems that, before long, perfect babies could be bred at will, largely free of hereditary disease and illness.

So, in my view, there is little point any more in feeling shock-horror at the idea of mass sterilization.

On the other side

Never again tell me people like Cindy Sheehan opposes the war. It is clear that she supports the terrorist.

Under the watchful eyes of dozens of black-clad and helmeted anti-riot police, some 50 heavily veiled wives and children of 40 senior members of the Muslim Brotherhood detained for the past year, gathered in front of the headquarters of first lady Suzanne Mubarak's National Council Women carrying banners calling for their release. "I am here to protest the trial of civilians in front of a military tribunal as this is a violation to international law," said Sheehan,

265443627_d849dfacbd_o The Muslim Brotherhood is the Home of many leaders of Al-Qaeda. She and way too many on the left support our enemy in this war. I say let her stay in Egypt, she looks better in a burqa anyway.

On another note, I have often yelled at anti-war protesters to take their protest to the Mid East and see what happens... so she gets points for that. 5 points. In this case I think she was used as a shield for a protest that would have been quickly crushed if not for the presence of an American.

The Fear of Terrorists

1196 copy One of the world's most wanted and elusive terrorists, Imad Mughniyeh, was killed by a car bomb in Syria nearly 15 years after dropping almost entirely from sight.

Now that's the way a terrorist should go. Gentlemen start your engines.

More importantly, if Israel was involved in the assassination, the success in infiltrating Mughniyeh's security sends a clear message to every Hizbullah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist around the world,

Your safe houses are not safe

Things you didn't know about Washingtonians

Today at work I had a job for a customer with a very unusual name. Now I cannot really call that unusual because it would mean that I had not lived in the state for more than 14 years, the name Steilacoom is not all that unusual for Western Washington. So I was thinking of how easy it was for me to say that name correctly and I thought I should make a list of things that are unique to Western Washington. So here it goes.

  1. The United States of America begins east of the cascades.
  2. The city of Portland is like an ugly sister but you say she's beautiful because she's family.
  3. People like Canada a lot but they're willing to wait for Washington to change.
  4. All the small towns have Indian names, to make it easier to spot people from out of state.
  5. If you can count the sunny days in a month on both hands, you call it summer.
  6. Your friend tells you about their California vacation and your first question is, what is smog?
  7. People actually take the ferry to get to work.
  8. There really is an espresso stand on every corner, but a cup of coffee is hard to find.
  9. You have used every setting on your adjustable windshield wipers and you wish you had one more.
  10. You wear a jacket every day, but only when it's cold.

Inside the greenhouse: Surprise, New Taxes

Our state is in a short 60 day session of the legislator where the democrats are hard at work finding new taxes and saving the planet.

I have seen over and over the calls for new ways to discourage Washington drivers from driving and this is the latest with a "save the planet"  appeal. Now they have, at last found a way.

to mitigate the impact of vehicle loads on the state roads and highways, as well as encourage the reduction of vehicle emissions

And it's not cheep... A two for one deal, new taxes for engine Size from 0-600$ and CO2 output 0-600$

An illegally wiretapped conversation.

You here all about how the government wants to record your phone calls and how they intend to misuse the tapes for political gain. The democrats decry the potential of abuse over and over again, yet offer not one example of this abuse. I have one...

A couple in Florida used a radio scanner, given and modified by one political party, to record a cell phone conversation. this was then given to a leader of that party who used it to attack his opponents and leaked it to the press who misreported the context.  Jim McDermott (D) Washington, Did this when Activist gave him the tape they made, they claim to just happened to hear this call and just happened to their scanner set to receive cell calls and just happened to have a tape recorder in their car.

So yes we do have to worry about the government, A democrat government, with wiretapping power.

McDermott's gotta pay for his part in this crime.
