Liberal Judges

Coming to a court room near you.

We have from England the story of a lady who was surrounded in her car by a gang of thugs one breaks her window and grabs her computer. She bravely chased the fleeing man to get it back but he got away. When she returned to her car another was going thru it, she grabbed him looked him in the eye for 3 seconds then one of his "brave" buddies hit her and they both fled. She ID the man and testified against him.

Too believable: Driving instructor Denise Dawson was robbed by a gang as she taught a pupil but the case was dismissed because she was too honestJudge Jamie Tabor praised Denise Dawson as 'honest, utterly decent and brave' when she identified a man as her alleged attacker and gave evidence against him.

But moments later he halted the trial and ordered a not guilty verdict on Liam Perks, 20.

The judge said Mrs Dawson's good character and compelling evidence could sway the jury, even though she had had only a fleeting glimpse of her attacker.
