TEA in Monroe

Earlier this afternoon I got an e-mail and after a quick drive down Highway 2 I found myself at this great event.

Seeds of Liberty is the grass roots group behind these successful events in Monroe, this was the first I was able to attend.

Unlike the anti-war protest I go to I didn’t have  the only American Flag.

The theme was the 10th amendment…

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Why is the 10th Amendment so important? “Liberty is the space into which governments grow.”

Now it’s time for a few of my favorite shots, remember more photos can be found on Flickr.

Tea parties are just warming up. So far the government has ignored the American people. We will get more and more activist until this government is under control and learns that it Serves the American people, it does not Rule us.

One lump or two?
