Freedom fights on

In the spirit of the long forgotten freedom gathering at Tiananmen Square, crushed by the full force of China's communist military, some brave resistance fighter(s) chucked a burning object at the huge portrait of the Mass murder Mao Zedong. The portrait was damaged and police evacuated the square while searching for the brave hero(s) of freedom. The picture will be replaced tonight and security will be increased. An extra death squad has been dispatched.

A vandal damaged the giant portrait of China's late Chairman Mao Zedong that hangs over the Forbidden City on Saturday, prompting police to clear the area and adjacent Tiananmen Square, witnesses said.

Remember the Cultural Revolution?
Despite leading the country in a series of violent political movements that saw millions purged or killed and left the economy moribund, Mao is still revered by many in China and is seen as a symbol of its strength and unity.

Never forget the fight goes on!
